Title: Thermal Expert
Post by: Pantheron on June 19, 2018, 09:21:25 pm
Hello,

for the German guys:

Actually there is an offer for the TE-V1 for under 2000.- (9fps - also 30fps available) on ebay kleinanzeigen.
(Just search for TE-V1 and you will find the listing)

Im not affiliate with the seller - just saw it on ebay kleinanzeigen..

for all other guys:

Thermal expert has a nice 1024x768 sensor - maybe we will see a new level in thermal cameras in "lower budget"

Or probably at least we will get the VGA for less money?

Best regards

For less money? You are dreaming.
Have you read news on new pentagon's budget for this year? Everyone gonna to pay, one way or another. I don't need thermal, but afraid that prices for ADC /DAC would jump again, and same with OPA, probably even simple logic 'd cost more.

I didn't find it in my search at first because it's too far away. But it looks like it's actually a listing from the official retialer for Europe. On their website they only offer the V1 for 4000€, but the eBay listing claims to include warranty. It's a really great deal I would love to take. But it's an investment I can't justify without making profit out if this device, and right now I just don't.

I somehow doubt that this is an official retailer. Its listed under "Pets->Horses"... Maybe its a horse breeder/doctor... who recently thought I can cure horses by getting some of those "highend" thermal cams...
The description seems to be copied from the manufacturer, but the seem they offer more than one modell  ???
No word about used/unused...

Just saw that the offer seems to be related to http://highvoltageshop.com/ (http://highvoltageshop.com/) in Graz/Austria...

Has anyone bought a camera from https://www.thermalexpert.eu (https://www.thermalexpert.eu) /  http://highvoltageshop.com (http://highvoltageshop.com) /  Voltagezone Electronics e.U.? I am thinking of buying the TE-Q1 camera from this store due to the attractive price of 580EURO + 30EORU delivery. On the other hand, the price is suspiciously low. I would like to hear the opinions of customers of this store regarding the reliability of the seller and the quality of cameras.

I have purchased high voltage generation equipment (not a camera) from the Highvoltage shop and they were great. No problems at all.

I bought my TE-M1 through https://www.thermalexpert.eu (https://www.thermalexpert.eu). Shipment was fast and painless and Thomas has been very helpful with all questions I've had via email support. Sometimes it may take a while to get a reply but I've never had an email go unanswered.

I'm very happy with the quality of the camera itself.
