The 3500/3600 and 4500 may be configured via their USB port using the Thermal Eye GUI.

See my post on the L3 X50 That I repaired......

This is going to be a shot in the dark but anyway:
Anyone selling a narrower lens for the 4500 core? What came with the 4525 or 4512? Willing to put mine in for trade.
The alternative is building a zoom lens from znse, but that would add about 10cm infront of the camera

Do you know what lens it came with? A relatively wide angle one I assume?

Fraser or others - do you know whether the 4500AS and 3600AS share the same lens mount, and whether the optics are compatible?

If they are compatible then I might consider swapping my 3600AS lens for a wider 4500AS one - my 3600AS FoV is a bit narrow for my applications. I do not know the exact FoV/focal length of the one I have, though if there is interest I can probably work it out.

Sorry I do not know whether lenses are interchangeable between the 4500AS and 3600AS.

A recalibration of the core would normally be needed as well to achieve a flat field with the different lens Characteristics.

@Hydron It's a 50° lesn. Way to much for my usage.
@Fraser (or anybody) I've found one on ebay, that has a larger window.
The seller doesn't know anything, only what's in the pictures

i have thermal eye cores in my collection 3500as 4500as and the 4512as the all work well and some are radiometric  it would be nice to turn it off for a clean image view. so i added the extra lines in there connectors to plug them to the usb  but i do not have the software . can anybody help me find it. i added the polarity and zoom buttons the the 4500as core from the eagle 2 firefighter cameras, that same connector i tried on the 4512as core from a nvti multicamera unit i just got a week ago from ebay for 125-bucks$$ and found it has a higher zoom range that works great with the bigger lens it has, it would be nice to tryout the software for my cores to add to my collection i also have my first real thermal camera the atn x150 xpfrom 2009  i would like to thank fraser for the pictured he show of the repair of the same type i own  i was nice to see the inside working design layout

Did we post the Thermal Eye control software here on site? Does anyone have the ICD for the serial data streams?

So time to bring this one up from the grave :)
A friend of mine had a accident with his 3600 core and one of the components released the dreaded white smoke. Does anyone have a spare board or even a high detail image od the damaged component, that he can replace it.
After the accident the board draws 0 mA, so hopefully it's only the damaged component and a fuse somewhere.

Thank you

Mine has a slightly different PCB (PWB7070076 Rev A) but see attached pic anyway:

This may not help much for your cause, but here is a close-up of the two 4500as boards and various SOT23 type devices.

Did we post the Thermal Eye control software here on site? Does anyone have the ICD for the serial data streams?

I too am interested in obtaining the eZoom software if anyone has it avalible.
