Hi All, I recently got this thermal camera and wanted to transfer some pics I took to PC so I hooked it up and as soon as the removable drive popped up Windows defender kicked in and deleted the bundled IRIMagetools-v1.0.1.22-Setup.EXE installer for the imaging software reporting it as a malware/virus virus:Win32/Sality.AT and worm:Win32/Autorun!pz. I didn't have the time to realize this that the file was promptly deleted.

I sincerely hope this is a false positive (wouldn't be the first time) - but I wanted to check if anyone else had this trigger from their A/V before looking to download it from Tooltop's website.

Thanks

P.S. I downloaded the 1.0.1.24 version from here and that installed fine without warnings:

just installed

sure  shitty defender complains about it,  but it is known  it may or will even complain with non dangerous sw,   just because M$oft does not like some companies or names or links .... yada yada,  once launched   no complaints ...  and i'm under more severe defender constraints  ...

use external AV scanners like EEK  or else and see
