UNI-T UTi192M
« on: July 24, 2020, 04:44:32 am »
I was checking out UNI-T thermal imagers on there Ali Express store because I  am interested in one for electronic trouble shooting and want one that will image individual components.

It was not clear from any of the specifications if any of the thermal imagers they sell would focus close enough to be useful to see individual components so I contacted them.  "George" quickly replied that none of the models they have in that store will work for component level troubleshooting.  However they do make a manual focus model UTi192M that will work and sent me this image of it being used.

So I messaged them back and said "the UTi192M looks interesting, how much is it?"   George replied that it is $2700 + shipping, it is part of their industrial line.  So I replied that was a bit beyond my budget for hobby use, and thanked him for his answers.

In looking at the specs it has a 25 Hz update rate and that may be part of the elevated price.
