Title: What non-fogging glue to re-seal Seek Thermal housing?
Post by: LarryR on September 02, 2020, 03:40:21 pm
Hi,
I was playing with the internal USB interface on my (original) Seek Thermal camera but now want to re-seal the housing.

I want to use a non-fogging type glue so nothing will be deposited on the surface of the thermal sensor.

Any ideas of something that is commonly available?
I do not want to have to buy any type of industrial glue from Miller, Loctite, etc

Thanks
Larry

I used the UV curing stuff on my FLIR E40 after removing the front lens to get a look at how it was constructed. I have removed it twice now, using the UV glue both times with no apparent fogging.

I have some LOCA (for LCD displays) which may work.
I'll give it a try.

Thanks!
