Title: Wow! This looks promising!

I was Googling for SWIR LEDs for sale, as a light source to test the SWIR capabilities of my Seek Thermal (as I talked about in another thread), and I found this article about a new company that is planning on making an SWIR camera using standard CMOS technology. The article says it could reduce the cost to about one thousandth of the current cost of SWIR cameras (those using InGaAs sensors). The company has raised 17 million dollars to start their operation.
