Squarewave:
I wonder if anyone knows anything more about these than I do? All I know is these are the computers on the desks of an old printing press, controls supplied by Harland Simon in the 1980s, which was a part of Rockwell Automation. I wonder if any of these could have any purpose today? If not, I'll pull the EPROMS like I'm doing to the rest of the control system!
Squarewave:
I don't know if this means anything to anyone, but I'm told these terminals replaced the VT100s many years ago and is the terminal which would run X windows.
AndyC_772:
The only context in which I know the Microvitec name is that they made very well respected CRT monitors back in the day. The "cub" was the gold standard display if you had a BBC micro.
Didn't know they made anything else, sorry.
Squarewave:
Yes I remember those from school, the CUB monitors and the BBC computer.
