Nintendo Virtual Boy

Has anyone heard of the Nintendo Virtual Boy, or even tested it?
It was a complete commercial failure, but interesting device technically nonetheless, based on a NEC V810 (32-bit RISC CPU) and pretty fancy (for the time) LED-based stereoscopic display.
