She's a bit crusty... Want it for mailbag?
« on: November 08, 2017, 03:44:22 am »
Attached is a little preview of a 1979 Missile Command main board that I ran across a few years ago.  I also have the regulator/power supply II board too.

If anyone wants to see Dave take a look at it, I'll send it in.

This one even has the original burned Pin 1 on the J1 edge connector.  It was a common problem with the early games. If I send it in, you'll see the work-around that was most commonly done in the days when video arcades would often have a tech on staff who did component level repair.

Also the mailbag is a much less frequent segment these days now that the Monday has been dropped.

Yes, why is that? Did I miss an announcement somewhere by Dave? I think Mailbag is still "Everyone's favourite segment".

IMO it would be better passed on to someone who would try and fix it and get it back in use, there really wont be many of those around now

Yep, agreed.
Thanks for the offer, but there isn't much of general interest to an arcade board on it's own.

ebay it - collectors who own the machine are always looking for spares.
same goes for the AR2 board.
