I just read the Datapoint 2200 post and thought some of you might like to see this.  According to Wikipedia, the first time the term "microprocessor" was used was with the Viatron System 21 Intelligent terminal designed in 1968.  The "microprocessor" was actually a two board set and the internals  of the example I have in my collection is a cavalcade of white ceramic and gold along with numerous other era components.

More pictures here: http://vintagecomputer.ca/viatron-system-21-model-2111-restoration/.  Sadly, it is still not operational but I'll get back around to it soon.

Awesome find, straight outta 2001.  :-+  You can hear it singing "Daisy" as you pull the cards out, I'll bet...

The board in slot 5 is not a microprocessor, it's a MICROPROSSOR (whatever that is).
