Projects in Adelaide?

I wrapped up a short consulting project in Adelaide a couple months ago, and really enjoyed the city and my time there. Still have 9 months on my short term business visa, and wonder how to find consulting jobs in the area? Based on what I've been told, there aren't a lot of EE consultants in the area, but on the other hand, maybe there isn't much need either. Thoughts?

I am senior experienced EE who has worked on a wide variety of projects, government, industry and consumer. I do hardware design, PCB layout, firmware, and am very good at systems integration and problem solving. American, but we've been living in South Korea for 20+ years.

I know there are a bunch of engineering companies there doing mining and defence work.

No real idea of the contract work opportunities, but there are some listed on Seek - at least one seems to be through an agency.
