Atomizer!
« on: December 22, 2016, 04:42:15 am »
Please can someone direct me to an electronic component website. I need an atomizer which could be programmed and would be able to function with oil scents.

Something like this one but this one in particular isn't programmable and only functions with water.http://www.digikey.com/products/en?keywords=atomizer

That one will work just fine with essential oils. It is the same piezo atomizer that is installed in 100's of eBay ultrasonic essential oil diffusers.

Just buy one and try that yourself. And also buy a few fully assembled already available atomizers, they are like $10, not a huge investment.

I'm not sure what you mean by programmable. It either atomizes or not, there is not much to it.

Hey man ,the problem with this atomizer is that all of those components won't fit into the design of my air freshener. I would have to program it, but this one in particular isn't programmable.

You probably need to explain your requirements more clearly e.g. what programmable functions do you need?

Too bad for your design. Because that's how big they all are. You will have to invent a new thing if you want it to be smaller.

I would have to program it, but this one in particular isn't programmable.
You can add MCU to anything. That's how people make things programmable in general case.

It has an enable pin, you can simply PWM it at low frequency to modulate the intensity of the atomization.

I doubt it cares whether you put a wick with water or oil on it either.

https://www.eevblog.com/forum/beginners/please-help-me-with-my-new-product/

After much clearing up I have put one of your many posts here in the beginer section. Please do not post the same topic in multiple sections particularly those that obviously don't apply, you will just annoy everyone and if you persist get banned.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you, won't happen again.

oops, I did it again...

Vladkohvan, I bet everybody will help you if you stay on a level that suits your position. the eevblog is usually a plaace whereyou can always getcompetent and fast help. you are asking for a favor and we are willing to help. but if you start a new topic every day with basically the same question the people who are willing to help will degrade over time because it is annoying to read the question over and over again. It feels like talking to a wall. oldway asked you in the other thread some very important questions, which you definitely should keep in mind instead of opening just another thread, asking about details of your product, without realy providing any details to help us help you. show us sketches of the design, tell us dimensions, tell us the detailed outlines of your idea, tell us something about your goals, what do you want to archieve with the product, maybe than we can help you, but I guess with "i want a product and you should now help me create it" you are nowhere near to reach your goal.

I have bought a nice shirt about this last month. it states in german (translated)

Engineer
noun (en-sche-neeeer)
Someone, who does precise guessings
based on unclear data
which is provided by people with
questionable knowledge about the thematic.
Also known as: Wizard, Sage
