How does this work the inductors, (and relay), are a mystery, I know how a normal doubler, or tripler etcetera works but this seems one step beyond:

If you look at the board, it says +600 and -600.
My guess is it is simply two multipliers, one for neg and one for pos.
The other stuff is perhaps filtering and a relay to switch on the thing, perhaps with a current limiting w/w resistor.
