Siglent SDS2000x bandwidth hack?

Heard from a very reliable source that the Siglent SDS2000x scope can be hacked to increase bandwidth.  I was lead to believe that this is an undisclosed marketing strategy to get more amateur users to purchase their product (sounds good to me!).

Anyhoo - has anybody heard much about this?  I am not sure if I am quite up to the skills of hacking it, but I am willing to give it a shot if I have some good guidance.

Certainly not !

These products have been around for 5 years previously as SDS2000 and now with HW improvements SDS2000X.
This is how long it has taken some of the clever ones to find the improvements and make them public.
Others have done it some years ago and kept quiet.
Some deep study of forum posts can find this evidence.
