Honestly, I don't understand the point of pin point lighting. I will admit, I went overkill. I have an 8' workbench. I have 2, 4', 6 bulb LED shop fixtures that output about 10,000 lumen each. I spent about $280 USD for both lights. My workbench is bright, I can see, there are no dark spots or shadows and I am saving money over the fluorescent light fixtures I had while having more light. Granted, I own my home and have dedicated office space so I can mount my lights into the ceiling. If I was renting, I would have figured out a way to mount them to my workbench so as not to damage the rental property. We all spend real money on our toys, why not spend some on lighting?
