Hi folks,

I want to create a battery connector pad. which should be listed as a component (not only a pad in the PCB).
In the schematic it is just a pin.
In the PCB it should be a pad with a text in it. This text should be removed copper.
I want this text to be adjustable through e.g. a parameter in the project options or the parameters of the part itself in the schematic.

I created an inverted string in the library with the property ('.Comment'). When I change the parameter in the comment field of the schematic part, the text on the copper changes too. So everything is like it should. But the problem is that the font size cannot be changed properly.

When the text which has to be displayed is shorter than '.Comment', a lot of space is wasted as the font is too small. But if I make the font bigger, '.Comment' is getting bigger and the size of the pad adjusts to the size of '.Comment'.
How can I make the font bigger but remain the pad size?

Thank you very much in advance.

Kind regards
