fortunately, my fabricator just told me that "don't worry, we'll manufacture your design as if they were vias in pad.", even though I simply placed vias over pads... :popcorn:

Well you could certainly do it with older versions, I was using it on dense BGA footprints about 10 years back with version 13

How are you expecting it to behave? If you want a via in the pad, you put a via in the pad...

What are you talking about? I manufactured several VIPPO boards using Altium. Just put a via in the pad and set it to type 7 filled/capped, done.

I've done vippo and blind vias in outdated circuit studio and had no problems with fabricator.
