Nets appear differently in Layout
« on: November 17, 2024, 03:09:14 pm »
Hello, in my design, the power port called 3.3V looks like a hatch, filled with black squares.

The net called 7.5 looks normal. I thought it was because of the name, so I made it 3V3 instead of 3.3V and it started to look normal.

What is the reason for this, is it to indicate the voltage line in any way? When you look at the design from a distance, these nets look increasingly faint, too.

Best Regards,
Ekrem Turan Fırat

I think that's the Board Insight feature highlighting the net that you have selected in the schematic, assuming you have both open.  And then it probably got deselected in the process of renaming the net.

OP already asked the question here and got answers: https://www.reddit.com/r/Altium/comments/1gtgj54/nets_appear_differently_in_layout/

As they found out, you can toggle with F5.
