Anti-static glove
« on: January 27, 2022, 06:37:07 pm »
Hi, in Winter, my place has static electricity issue. Recently, a lot of time when I touch equipment, static electricity is generated and caused malfunctioning even I touched the plastic part. If I wear a pair of anti-static gloves, will I be able to avoid such problem? Any good product recommendation?

Pair of gloves would not be a good solution (it may be even worse, because you may not feel static anymore, but equipment will). You should look at static as a bigger problem and manage it with higher humidity, dissipative surfaces, potential bonding, removal of static generating materials (carpets, chairs, insulated boots), etc.
There were several discussions on static issues in low humidity weather (like in heated homes in winter), search for it on forum.
