Daisy chain LED intensity control for strip
« on: January 04, 2021, 05:57:50 am »
1. Need to control led string in daisy chain with intensity control of each led like in led strips.

2. Each led will consume max of 300mA, so for linear intensity control we need to control led for 0 to 100%.  All leds are single color led's not RGB type.

3. I checked TLC5973, but it has max control for 50mA per channel, i.e 150mA per IC.  Is their any daisy chain IC where there is control of upto 300mA current? Need control of 50 led in daisy chain, with each led's linear inensity control

You could use one transistor for each LED and get some PCA9685 PWM controllers to perform the dimming.
