AFAIK that LCD is unique to the 88 original series (I'm assuming you don't have the 88-V) and the p/n is Fluke 868088.  There are online parts brokers that do show it as 'available', but I didn't see any that I'm personally familiar with so I don't want to make a recommendation there.  What is wrong with yours?  Sometimes they just need new zebra strips, original p/n Fluke 817460 x2, but I think the p/n has been updated.  You see these for sale on eBay, etc.

xDevs has the manual if you don't already.

A 3.5 digit 4.5 digit 5 digit 5.5 digit 6.5 digit 7.5 digit DMM is good enough for most people.

88 is, not V.
His problem is that the screen has turned black
If I do not find it, is there anyone here who sells it even used?

It's a 30 year old meter that was not that common in the first place and was typically used in a rough environment.  You might try the online brokers and ask for a quote for that part number, but beyond that it would be simply luck and patience that might allow you to bump into one.

LCD displays are and were normally custom made (like a PCB). You can look for the original Fluke part or you're done.
