Half circle thru hole PCB

Hello Guys,

Quick question, is there a correct name for this half circle thru hole via*(?) that you could use on your PCB to make it "solderable" on a different board?

I'm attaching pictures of what I'm talking about.

Another question is, does anyone know an eagle library that has it? I'm more interested on one like the Particle Photon, that has both the regular thru hole and the half circle one.

BTW the Chinese PCB manufacturers do often call them "half-holes" like you did They tend to cost extra, presumably due to extra wear on the milling bits?

It requires checking with your PCB fab house before you do the layout, to check what's acceptable and what their design rules are for these kinds of castellated pads.
