Help finding sensor identification (A3030)
« on: December 25, 2016, 04:05:35 am »
Could someone please help me find the datasheet on this? (photo attached)
A3030
B0542F

I'm pretty sure it's a photohelic micorchip sensor... it looks fun...
Why is it that some products are just so damn hard to find data on?
I understand I'm new to all of this, but most of the time, I can search for 30 minutes longer and find something...
But other times, I get this issue..
"I'd rather be buried then ungrateful to be given life and food on the table. And in a world this shaky and unstable, we've got to be less hateful!"

Looks like an optical mouse sensor, Avago ADNS-3030.

Unfortunately, the datasheets for the more modern ones are no longer easily available, but here's a reference design by Atmel that uses this sensor:

Edit: There are datasheets for several ADNS-30x0 available, maybe one is close enough to the 3030.
