Probably an oddball question but this is the only electrical forum I know of so I'm winging it hoping for the best.
I've got a
Alltrax SR 27300 controller that is rated for/supposed to work with
"6-10.5V & ITS Throttles".
And I've been looking around for any decent twist throttle that operates in the 6-10.5V ranges, but all I can find is throttles with a working voltage of ~0-4V, for instance
Generic Aliexpress Throttles that has a working voltage of 0.8-4.2V.
I don't know much about inductive throttle sensors, but I assume the inductor inside them converts the 72V from the batteries across the positive and negative terminals and outputs the working voltage on the signal, in the above aliexpress product that would output 4.2V at full throttle? Or do I need to step down the voltage myself from 72v down to the operating voltage that the controller supports (6-10.5V)? And if so would a 0.8-4.2V throttle work despite it not living up to 6V minimum?
The schematic I'm working with is the
SR Generic Wiring (No Reverse) and a 72V battery system if that makes it easier to read than my summary.
Apologies for any wrong wording or if the question isn't fully clear. The electrical field is not my main area of expertise.
I might have misunderstood the whole inductive throttle setup entirely.
