Hi,
I wonder if there is any bipolar stepper motor driver integrated circuit that support adding external H-bridge using mosfets
I am asking because I think if there is something like that I will have all the features of well engineering and well design driver and also will be able to add whatever mosfets I want to gain more power
if what I have wrote doesn't make sense for you or you think there is something wrong, please correct me, I am still beginner and what I know probably less than what you know

Hi,

check here:

http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/EVAL6480H/497-13354-ND/3694208?WT.z_slp_buy=stmicroelectronics_motorcontrol-devkits

There are many other choices but I have used that series (64XX).

C, netmf and arduino drivers are easy to find/provided by st. (I have some UWP drivers in the work)

It helps they have plenty of development boards available.

85V@10A covers quiet a lot of motors.
