KTK vs. KLK Fuse in Fluke 23 Multimeter
« on: November 11, 2015, 08:10:08 pm »
I have a Fluke 23 multimeter with a blown fuse for the high current probe.  The meter currently uses a type KLK fuse and I have a KTK fuse in my junk box with the same current rating.  I looked at the datasheets and it appears that the time to blow for a given current is comperable.  Is it ok to use a KTK fuse?

The only difference between KTK and KLK is the manufacturer, as far as I know.  I've seen both used in Fluke and comparable meters.

The KTK is not specified for DC.
