I am wondering if this is repairable (Radio Shack Auto Range Analog Meter, Cat. No. 22-216). Multiple solder balls fell out of the case when I opened it. Someone wisely removed the batteries. I have no history of it, only the user manual in PDF form. It looks like there may be marker, it rubbed off the solder but not the board when I used a fingernail on it. Is this impossibly difficult for a newbie? I have solder, banana plugs, etc. I am mainly wanting to learn so I can increase my technical competency as a field technician. Might not be able to be in the field forever, so increasing the technical skill is important to me in case I have to live an office life. Also this would be a huge achievement for me. So just be honest, am I shooting for the moon here? Thanks in advance.
Oh, it turns on but I immediately turned it off and took out the batteries because, y'know, scared.
