Optional components in scheme
« on: November 02, 2016, 04:20:10 am »
In optional components schemes usually be identified in several ways, for example;

Nostuff
NC
DNI
DNA
DNF
@
*
Option

Does anyone know any more acronym or symbol indicating that the component is optional?

DNP has been the most widely used acronym for specifying a component that should not be placed that I've seen.
Come and check my projects at http://www.dgkelectronics.com ! I also tweet as https://twitter.com/DGKelectronics

I've seen "DY" in some Asian schematics and wonder what it stands for. "Don't Yuse"? :o
