Simple reversing motor w timer for Halloween

Hello,

I am trying to create a moving decoration for my front window. It is a doom buggy decoration from The Haunted Mansion at Disneyland. I have a frame for it to be mounted on that has rails so it can slide smoothly. I used ChatGPT to get me to where I am now with the electrical stuff, but as is sometimes the case, the details get a little fuzzy.

What I want to do is simply have a DC motor run one way for X amount of time to travel down the rails, then reverse and travel back for that same amount of time and then just repeat. I have a timing belt pulley system under the rails. I have a 12 volt power supply, a drok timer relay, an omron MY2N DC12 DPDT general purpose relay and a 12V 25 rpm DC motor. I have gotten to the point where the timer works as I expect it to, but I can only get the system to go in one direction. I can also get the DPDT relay to activate, but haven’t figured out how to integrate it so it is useful, everything I’ve tried has produced nothing more than the timer by itself does. So, I need help reversing the polarity using a timer. I feel like I’m close, but that’s not quite enough here.

Thanks for any help, I haven’t worked with electrical stuff in many years, and even then it was only the simplest things in high school.
