I have spent at least 6 hours now looking for what I would call Eyelet solder tags here in the UK or on Aliextrpess (as I need about 1000 of the blighters).
But for some reason the only ones I have come across have been on two Swiss sites
I'm starting to think I'm looking for the wrong thing, is there another name for these guys?

It's time to throw myself at the mercy of this forum and beg for help!
Please tell me I'm just using the wrong search term, and what I really need to be looking for is the ubiquitous "M2.5 PCB mount ferrule grounding terminal"
Unfortnetlyt not, I need that, but with the eyelet that goes into the board....but very near!
Try searching for “rivet solder terminal” and “rivet solder lug”, too, since many vendors don’t use the term “swage”.
I bet these were far easier to find many decades ago, when terminal strips were common. These days one rarely sees those, so it’s not surprising the terminals for them aren’t made as commonly, either.
peps1, what’s the intended application? Maybe there’s a better solution overall.

Unfortunately, it's for vintage equipment restoration and recreation, so limited on how much wiggle room have to deviate.
Though, I do wonder why the Swiss seem to still make ;Dl

Well, there clearly
is still a small market for them, as you’re evidence of!
FWIW, Vogt products are of excellent quality.
