PG506 fast rise output, max amplitude thru 50 ohm cable, 5x 50 ohm attenuator and dual input coupler.

The output from an HCMOS logic gate is fast enough.  If you have a sync output on your function generator, then that can do it.

The oscilloscope performs the same two channel delay time measurement as shown in the measurements menu if you want to test it ahead of time.

I learned it after I changed the Dallas nvSRAMs in my 2440 and had to do the external calibration myself without the proper test equipment.  I tested a couple of different "fast" sources for the delay test and they were not critical at all.

Well... I haven't found the right instrument
 I re recognized several error messages in SPECIAL-COLD-SEF, and the results were all passed in the main menu.
include 2430A/2440
