Toggle relay when press power button on remote control?

I have 5V relay board like the one pictured below. It's controlled using an IR receiver and the remote control.

The relay switches when I press the power button on the remote, but it resets as soon as I let go of the button. I tried programming the board as per the instructions (hold down the button on the board for 5s, release and press the button to turn on etc). But that didn't work. I want to to switch the relay on when I press the button, and then switch it off again when I press the button a second time. Does anyone familiar with this type of board know how to achieve this?

Never mind. Face palm moment - I had to remove the jumper to change into toggle mode.
