Where to find toggle switch parts?
« on: January 26, 2022, 09:21:06 pm »
Hi guys,

I was scouring the internet to find parts for a simple toggle switch. Not all of them, just the following: bushing, plunger, lever/handle. Ideally the lever/handle is brass coated with chrome and the bushing brass coated with nickel. Type of plunger is really up for debate, whether its a rod or a ball on a spring..

The idea is, I want to create a custom solenoid toggle switch and really don't want to go for anything off the shelf.

I've found a few things on indiamart but don't want to use anything from there. EU/US/China is fine though.

Any idea where to get these parts or do I have to find a chinese company that will manufacture them?

Thanks for your help!

Buy a new switch.  It is just not economic reality to sell individual parts.  Now, if you only need a new mounting nut, that is a different story.  Let us know.

If you want to create something "novel" then scavenge parts from existing switches or make your own.

Are you referring to a toggle switch with a holding coil? You are aware that they exist?
