Same; 80% of the time I get a "502 Bad Gateway nginx" message

Compared to what was happening during European night/morning, from my end it’s pretty mild now. It seems gnif is doing a great job! Over the last 27 requests I got no failures, so the pass rate seems to be over 91% for me.

What surprises me a bit is that the bots are running the tracking apps. Which in turn suggests the attack is not too sophisticated, perhaps just running controlled browser instances. The difference it makes is that likely the attacker spends more resources on attacking than Dave does on defending. Of course in relative terms it’s pennies to large companies, but it’s still much better than the other situation.

The guests count seems to be falling fast, in tens thousands in half a hour.

Guest count seems to be hovering around 200,000 at the moment. A while ago it was lower, now it shows ~220,000.
Performance is fine currently, yesterday, when the errors occured, guest count was over 300,000.

This guest count is just wild to me. Damn bots...

About (half) an hour ago an edit of my post got eaten by some sort of verification filter, so I had to type (a similar) text again.

and during the last hour browsing this forum I got 4 or 5 of those verification bot things. So it's a bit annoying. I hope those DDos guys get jailed soon.
