[From US to x] Agilent 33220a with opt 01, clean now 449$ + ship

Clean, no dust inside. Fan replaced with a nearly silent one (if you keep your lab at <25C you will be fine).
Last FW already installed. It has the opt 01 so you can lock it with an external 10MHz, see below:

I can't find any defect worth to mention.

Since these units have some tantalum capacitor problems, I did some IR investigation and it looks fine:



I love this unit, excellent UI. Schematics available and feels like a solid piece of the old school Agilent era.
LXI is there, so it is not a very old guy.
This is why the price is not a bargain as always, I love this device too much.....

Ah, almost forgot. It has the last display variant with LED as backlight, no CFL. 

Compared to (fe)Ebay madness, yes bargain.

Reason for selling: the 33522a is telling me I do not need another wave generator ...
I am sad but it needs to go.

Mine is rock solid. The problem of modern devices is complexity and long boot time compared to the "old school ones".
If only they continued to provide decent service manuals with schematics included the music would not be such a sad one for us today.

A service manual without schematics is like a pretty girl who can't cook.
