[WTB][Bought] Rohde & Schwarz or HP signal generator
« on: May 28, 2015, 02:33:51 pm »
I'm looking to extend my electronic lab a Rohde & Schwarz signal generator like the SMS, SMS 2, SMG, SMY or similar device.

As the intended applications are AM/FM radio and analogue TV testing, it would need:

Bandwidth starting from 100kHz or lower, ending at 1GHz or more
Modulation: AM and FM a must, others welcome (o;
Remote control: GPIB
Budget: Euro <= 500

Basically wanna replace my Fluke 6060A/AN ;-)

Preferrably inside the EU or CH

I have SMT03 (5kHz-3GHz), but not sure if I would give it up for <500E  :-\
Barely use it , so that would be a reason for sale.

Have a few HP 8662A here in CH (local pickup).

Fully working, you can test them on HP 8568B when picking it up, no warranty because PSU can be a bitch sometimes.
Want 1200€, since these  instruments are really nice inside and it took some time to clean, repair and polish them back to former beauty.
