Sold [Any interest in old Silicon Chip magazines?]

Hi all,
I've watched the youtube videos for quite a while, and just joined the forum. Primarily because I have been cleaning out cupboards and have a heap of silicon chip magazines I'd like to sell.
Many are in silicon chip binders, and a large number aren't.

I'd like to sell them for some amount, because they represent a serious initial investment. But I'm not greedy either.

August 2000 - December 2008 all in binders, over 6 volumes but there might be a few issues missing here and there.
Then all of 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013
2010 except April.
2014 Jan - August
2015 Feb, Nov, Dec (I must've pruned a few during a cleanout).
2016 except Feb, Mar, Apr, Oct

Any offers considered within reason. If there's no interest whatsoever, I'll consider giving them away to a new home.

I weighed them, and all in they weigh 37.1kg for the lot!

So shipping will be cost prohibitive - maximum 22kg for parcel post, and a 22kg package is calculated at $186 postage from Melb to Brisbane (as an example).

So I'm in Melbourne, and it's pickup only.

I have this "plan" for my "retirement" to scan all my electronics magazines and I would have enjoyed adding to my collection - however Melbourne is a bit far for a pickup run and the nearly $200 for shipping takes the shine right off.

Unless some other alternative comes to mind...

A question: Do you have them in boxes - and, if so, what are the shipping dimensions? (Size and weight of each)

No they're not boxed. I don't know what to do with them now.

Still thinking on this.

If I were to organise someone to pick them up, are there any good or bad times for them to rock up?
How much notice would you need?
Do you have any suitable boxes available?

Most Sundays are pretty good at the moment and I could organise some boxes I reckon.

Will now need to look at costing. Do you have an amount you would require as a consideration, or would you be happy just to know they are finding a new home?

Great. I'd like to maybe get $50 for them if you can do that? It'll be handy coming into Christmas.
From an organisational perspective, I'll have to rustle up some strong boxes too. Probably half a dozen to save a crook back.

Well, the cheapest shipping option lived up to expectations.... It took 3 deliveries over the period of a week to deliver the 4 boxes (which were all picked up together) - but they are here!

A couple of the boxes were a bit the worse for wear, but the contents survived.  On that point, I was very pleased at the condition of the magazines.  The ones I've checked so far were in extremely good condition.  Very happy.
