I've bought some stuff in the auction.

If anyone wants to car/petrol share from the SW, then please PM me.
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.

Meh, being otherwise occupied I missed out on the two Z80 logic analysers.
Probably for the best, I'm supposed to be renovating a boring house, yawn...

I hope everyone enjoys their new toys :)

Swine :)

If I hadn't bought quite so many other toys, I would have taken it as a "nice to have" item.

OTOH, I'm glad I didn't get it since my house is already full. Now I'm going to have to throw some stuff out :(

Hello,
was I fighting you on the HV unit? If yes, I might have an offer for you.

Threw in two frustration bids on the HP 1000W unit and a set of Raca Dana Counters. Won the second, didnt get the first. But other than that, I fared quite well. Got the transformator which I really need, the agitator which i really need, the HV which I really need. And one 7150.

EDIT: Clarify what I am talking about.

I was bidding on Agilent ESA generator and I didnt win, so I was then bidding on Marconi generator and didnt win either.

I was really hesitating on E4406A analyzers, but I finally realized I dont need any. I saved some money for my vacation. ;D

2x Racal Dana 9343M LRC meters
Fluke 415B (very very low noise/ripple, will be used for powering PMTs)
Neutron radiation monitor Mk7 (3He sensor)
Resistance standard (0.01%)

Bought a scope and a couple of HP logic analysers. Will drive down from NE England (Newcastle) if anyone wants to share petrol costs.

WAs bidding on a couple of the Racal 6103 test sets, (one person bid on all four)  but got caught up at work and couldn't get back on, anyone here got them?

Willing to do a deal if you need them collected, similarly for other items of interest (not looking for cash, just some cheap test gear to tear down and possibly use)

Dean, likely you were my "enemy" in the fight for the logic analyzer stations.

If that is so, are you interested in a trade? I know this sounds stupid, but SWIMBO needs a second lab when I dump her in Germany for a week every 14 days as I need my peace. She will get the 16500C I bought if my 16700A works. I would probably, then, be willing for the trade of the century to save hassle: one pattern generator versus a DSO card for the thingy.

Hello,
no sweat. If you were my enemy, I wanted to express my honor.

In fact, now that the auction is over. It was my honor to bid with and against all of you. May we deal with one another another time!

I was willing to bid on LeCroy active probes, but they were far over my limit. But interesting to watch.

Arent there any E4406A winners here ?

I joined in the bidding fun for the big old HP 83752A 20GHz synthesised sweeper. But I didn't win it.
There was no way of knowing if it worked or even if it was complete inside so I only bid up to its value as a spares donor.
If the description said it was basically functional I'd have bid a lot more for it.

I've already got a 20GHz HP83752A here with the top options fitted but I really want to get another one at some point. It's a fabulous piece of kit :)

The email says, in bold, "Clearance is by prior appointment only (weekdays only - 24hrs minimum notice) and starts from Wednesday 3rd August 2016 - all lots must be removed by 12.00noon Friday 12th August 2016. GOODS MAY ONLY BE COLLECTED AFTER CLEARED FUNDS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED"

I don't know how strictly they are enforcing that start date.

No I'm in no rush at all, I'd rather wait in case any more people decide they want stuff picking up. the only deadline is noon 12 August last collection.

Hello Folks,
I think that I just found a way to get my phone number back. If that works out, very soon, I am back in action!

However, SberBank isnt going to move the loot until Monday anyways...

All the best

You will need to send the auction house an email authorizing toploser to pick them up
