Deal: AU: Philips LED Lighting half price Woolworths

Philips LED bulbs are on sale at half price again for a limited time. If you are looking at getting some reasonable quality spares or harvest some parts for experiments, good price at $3.25 AU each (sold in pairs).

Probably the least efficient LED bulbs that Phillips sells. Not that a great deal IMHO. As long as you are OK with warm white it's way better to buy IKEA bulbs. Way better quality, way more LED inside the bulb and thus way better efficiency. https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/solhetta-led-bulb-e27-806-lumen-dimmable-globe-opal-white-40498644/ for example this 5.9W IKEA bulb is as bright as 9W Phillips sold at Woolworths. https://www.ikea.com/au/en/p/solhetta-led-bulb-e27-1521-lumen-dimmable-globe-opal-white-70510017/ but this 9.5 W bulb is 121 lumens brighter than 14W Philips from Woolworths and has CRI of 90 instead of usual 80. Also Many of IKEA bulbs have a great CRI R9.
