Mine it is like new... bought last year directly from Agilent, all papers/docs are there.

I thought much the same... I could really do with the upgrade for a project that's coming up soon, but my "slow" MSO-X3054A will have to do.

If the active probe is available separately then I might be interested, though.

The 1Ghz probe is part of the deal and will not be sold separatly.

I add a Rubidium reference with 10Mhz outpout and a second output that can be selected up to 10Hz
I add as well an 11Ghz USB sampling scope that work very well and that can measure with a resolution to 1Ps

Grab it and sell you scope after, if not sold here I will post somewhere else or go to an instrument broker.

I think it is mainly a cash issue, is somehow a lot of money but only a fraction of the new cost.

Perhaps you have the wrong audience here. Spending this kind of money is company investment territory and companies in the EU like to buy new. Perhaps put it on Ebay with a lower starting price which would make it worthwile for someone in the US to buy it.

I am sure there are EEVblog members interested, the problem is to find

1) a gentleman with money
2) in need of a kick ass MOS.

Sometimes is a problem 1) or the 2). Normaly people like us buy a Rigol and move on.
We need to develop a time machine, so I can go back, do not buy the X3054A (which I pay more than this X3104A holy cow), and then jump on today and give all the money to Eurofox.

The devil on the right shoulder is telling me I must grab it, the angel on the left ones is teeling me:"when you need 1GHz?, 500MHz will do the job".
Life is complicated. I still hope eurofox will get the money since it is an incredible offer.

It is. I can afford it but I can't justify to spend that amount just because it is nice to have. I don't think I will need that performance soon.

IMHO you should not let it pass because the 1GHz bandwidth is overkill. I don't know how much the models with less bandwidth cost but it might be the deal is also good compared to those. A couple of months ago I bought a 1 GHz scope. Not because I really need 1GHz but because it was a better deal than buying a new 200MHz scope.

IMHO you should not let it pass because the 1GHz bandwidth is overkill. I don't know how much the models with less bandwidth cost but it might be the deal is also good compared to those. A couple of months ago I bought a 1 GHz scope. Not because I really need 1GHz but because it was a better deal than buying a new 200MHz scope.

Do you think I will sell my MSOX3054 full loaded for >€4500? Looks like it is a risky gambling and I don´t want to be stuck with two MSOX just because it is an massive incredible deal with fireworks included.

I suppose it is a cash issue, most interested people already got a scope and they need to get rid of it to have the cash to buy it.

I got someone yesterday that was on the edge to buy it but finally he got a cash issue to finalize it.

If it is not sold here it will find an home somewhere else.

I have some other goodies coming next, the 4 instruments sold in the beginning of this week will already be delivered today to the new owners.
