Its not digitally programmable, but its sold typically for far under $100, depending on the amperage. Its peerless because modern voltage sources that meet or match the PD capability will cost >>10x more. They were built and designed over 40 years ago, and still working to spec, unrepaired, and built like tanks. I have 3, others have more. There are interesting photos on Flickr by PD fans.
