why not? if it wasnt that expensive... i think i could save a lot of future time...

woundt have to spend on a stencil and the soldering, just pop it on, run it, place all the components and then by the magic of the solder and heat it would be done.

what am i missing?

The magic paste used by the machine costs a fortune.

Also the resolution is not that great compared to PCB manufacturing nowadays.

You are missing that you could make a PCB with state of the art chips from 1986.

Anything modern and useable is going to come in something with much smaller pins than an SOIC.

Then there is the mechanical robustness or lack of.

And finally the terrible current handling ability.

Maybe your goal is to use an SO8 555 timer to flash and LED.  In which case go for it.

Anything more advanced and stick to JLCPCB/PCBWay/whoever and wait the 10 days.  If you can't wait the 10 days either pay someone local two orders of magnitude more for a rush PCB or develop the skill of etching/plating your own PCB.

develop the skill of etching/plating your own PCB.

Possible also to do with a fiber laser if you can get PCBs with 100% copper coverage. Though through-hole via plating will still require some skill.
