Looking for obsolete hardware devkit and related
« on: September 03, 2015, 09:06:12 am »
Hi folks,

I'm looking for orignal development kits for older gaming console hardware, and especially for the Bandai's WonderSwan. I know that there are some japanese folks here so maybe you know a way to find such a thing. I'm looking for it at a reasonable price of course, if anyone have information on that or other things related to devkits, I would be really grateful.

I also own an ARM Integrator/AP board with an ARM940T MCU sub board, if anyone have matching board for the Integrator/AP or Integrator/CP, that he want to get rid of, it would be nice too!

Thanks!
When you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective.

Head over to assemblergames.com and wade through the BS to the for sale section. The good stuff is on yahoo japan auctions, you can use a proxy like Buyee.

Yes, I'm already on the assemblergames.com forum (and this is where I first saw image of these devout, but the owner of this one is not really reactive, and getting information on it are painful) and I look often on yahoo auction, but unfortunately, this is not a common stuff, and I doubt they'll never hit such a website, the only way would be to make do networking, and find someone (or a company) with one and that does not mind to sell/give it away. (and that's why I ask here too)
