Hello,

I don't know the HP model you mentioned.
Wouldn't that be the model: HP 54540A - 4 channel 500MSa/s ?

Best regards
Djil

Check eBay recently sold listings to get a better idea, then see what is currently on offer there. By "fair price" do you mean to move them quickly? Some of the recent eBay listings went for insanely cheap, but if you are planning to list them there and not in a hurry, I'd think US$150 +shipping for the Tek and US$200 +shipping for the HP. There are some current listings for lower than that. Are you selling them here and just looking for offers? Does "not bothered about shipping" mean you are selling with free shipping?

The problem with the HP 54503 is that it's a truly useless scope for 95% of the people who'd buy a used DSO: It's from a series that boast high bandwidths, but abysmal sampling rates, your unit offers a single shot bandwidth of 1 MHz and 20 MSa/s. There are quite a few better models from that series on ebay, imo the only people who'd buy it are the ones who can't be bothered to look for datasheets if they see a "cheap" offer for a "500 MHz scope". Maybe list it for like 150-200€ and hope that someone with an allergy to datasheets comes along.

The Tek has the problem that it's a digital scope in an awkward position: A new Rigol 1054 costs like 350€ and is a way better scope. You can sell analog Teks without a problem, but it's just another 150 MHz 2ch with a mediocre sample rate. I've sold my Tek 410 for 150ish€ if i remember correctly, so maybe also aim for the 150-200€ mark.

That's the prices i'd ask for if those were my scopes, shouldn't be "price is so cheap that it's an instant buy" prices but should ensure that they sell within a month or two. But keep in mind that you're in the UK, most folks from the EU are kinda hesitant to buy UK gear because you have to pay customs and the shipping costs tend to be higher.
