I wonder if pasta bolognese will have me stopped for a security check of my internals.

That sounds ominously like a eugenic scheme to sterilise drug smugglers to stop them breeding!

If there is another "incident" in the US and the usual reactionary BS that goes along with it, next step is this shit for all of us.

Hell yeah cos after all we all know how many flights have been placed into jeopardy by 70 year old ladies with crochet needles!  A far more reliable indicator would be to ban anyone with a beard. At least that would perform a public service keep that idiot Oakeshott from flying to Canberra to commit more innocent stupidity.

All these scanners are a joke, a public facade to make listeners of talk-back radio feel a sense of false security.

I'd like to know what triggered this world outbreak of nonsense where the sad and the badly dressed decided that all risk can be eliminated without ever considering the human, economic and emotional cost of attempting such folly.

If, as humans, concentrated the same effort on, elimination of ignorance and stupidity, as we do on painting things day-glo and promoting dumb legislation, then this world would actually become a better place.

X-raying people sounds like a waste of time to me.

The US government would be better off legalising the least harmful illicit drugs and use the tax generated to provide proper universal healthcare.

I hope they don't X-ray pregnant women.

I hope they X-ray the politicians, bureaucrats and media morons responsible for this stupidity often, and hopefully with the power output wound up to 11.

in the link, there is statement that pregnant women, mentally impaired and under 18 will be exempted. from the article writing, they will not simply randomly pick anybody to xray, they also concerned about the privacy. i think they already think carefully if they want to implement this. from my understanding, only a "suspect" will be asked to do the xray, and still with his/her permission, otherwise they have to bring the suspect to hospital to do the length of time wasting test. having limited experience with how policemen work, to define "a suspect" is not a simple and random task, they need a really convincing evidence/information/investigation beforehand to positively define a person as "suspect". i look this thing as positive, if implemented correctly.

Currently, if Customs suspects you of carrying 'a suspicious substance' internally, they can request you submit to an  internal search by a medical practitioner. If you refuse, they can apply for a court order to perform the search.

At the moment, performing a search requires transporting the suspect under guard to a hospital where the procedure can be performed (CAT scan, x-ray, etc)  which is time consuming and expensive. This new system is simply an easier and quicker  method of carrying out the search at the point of entry.

Which makes performing internal searches inherently hard to do and so therefore not often done. With an "easy" system like this they will be scanning everyone with a three day growth or who looks like they need to use the toilet. It is also likely it would become mandatory just like it has in the UK and US for body scanners.

Exposing people to a device using ionisng radiation controlled by unqualified staff should be illegal. Enough people get cancer from poorly performed hospital x-rays.

Drugs and terrorism are not serious enough issues for the massive invasions of privacy currently taking place. Hell, if we gave up on the "War on Drugs" we would have enough money to dump into aid in the middle east that no one would ever think of attacking us again.

The "War on X" are just massive public works programs. At least the Japs did that by building bridges and highways instead of invading their citizens privacy and jailing them for ingesting chemicals.

Given the whole process is still based on radom selection, I don't want them anywhere near my points of entry or exit. Gixingsecurity guards access to X-ray equipment is akin to giving AK-47s to chimps.

If we are to become reliant on scanning technology the battle has already been won by the fanatics and crackpots.

Drug dealers and terrorists have been known to use mentally retarded peopled as pawns so x-raying is likely to increase such practises.

Easy enough to circumvent then. Stuff enough drugs (or explosives, if so inclined) in a woman's belly until she looks pregnant.

The T-hertz scanner and strip search would foil that attempt - no x-ray required.

Funny video, unfortunately you don't see the expression on the security officer's face.

Obviously fake though. Viagra doesn't give spontaneous erections and has little effect on healthy men, it just restores an impotent man to his former level of performance.

for a man, we have to know that sort of stuff. i thank Hero for that info. long time ago it crossed in my mind to get viagra to boost "performance", but i was afraid that "it" will burst from its already "normal" state (potent to impotent). i hope Hero's info is authentic and proven true from (his or other reliable source) experience.

Plenty of information can be found about it on the Internet.

Some patients believe that Viagra will make them even better in bed and increase their sexual drive. The both statements are incorrect. It is not an aphrodisiac — it’s an erectile dysfunction medication.

Viagra alone will not give you an erection. Sildenafil belongs to a class of drug known as vasolidators, these are drugs which help to relax the blood vessels. Increased blood flow to the penis occurs more easily with help from Viagra, however the reaction is not as a direct cause of taking the treatment and there still needs to be some sexual stimulation. If you are not in the mood for sex, are too tired or are unwell then the effects of the medications are unlikely to work.

Viagra will work for you only if you are stimulated. It needs a catalyst otherwise it will not help you at all. Your mind plays an important role in this. Many people believe that mind is the only one important in the sexual intercourse. Also, there are others that consider that sexual happiness is obtained only physically. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Both mind and body should be ready before sexual activity in order to get the best performances in bed.

Luckily I've never needed Viagra but not being able to get it up because of being tired, stressed, ill, too drunk or even angry with your partner is normal, nothing to worry about and won't be cured by magic blue pills.

this is important! i have pills that claimed to relax blood circulation, improve heartbeat etc, but nothing about the "P" thing. you know what? good performance! you'll never know. i've bought many kind of pills, but not specifically for the "P", none give any effect as claimed. but this one (made of herbs), claims to do something, but do another thing as well. i'm going to be a regular buyer for this pill, but only eat it occasionally when i got somekind of headache (high blood headache). in order for "extra performance", need to be taken daily as recommended schedule.

Viagra was originally developed to treat angina so that makes sense, assuming it's not just the placebo effect. Come to think of it, any drug which enhances circulation could potentially enhance erections.
