the idea is to use two quadcopters designed for aerial photography but one is fitted with a ESP32 Lora type radio repeater.
how the concept works.
one quadcopter will work as a repeater or range extender for the other quadcopter.  hovering high over the aerial videography zone.
as the second quadcopter can now fly low to the ground for the best close up aerial videography.
as the first quadcopter keeps an eye on the second quadcopter monitoring the radio signal levels.
the two drone operators work as a team.

the idea came from watching YouTube video of aerial videography.
I then noticed how drone operators can not get close up videography as radio signal levels
would drop off and the drone would be lost.

idea two
is to have better landing gear on an aerial videography quadcopter.
retractable quadcopter landing gear see image. the landing gear would not block the view of the aerial photography camera.
that can now have a 360 degree view from the bottom of the quadcopter
but on landing the retractable gear would be deployed to provide a stable base.

idea three
the use of two camera spheres on the same quadcopter. one camera would face the direction of travel. the drone operators view.
the other camera would be set to track the point of interest for the aerial videography.  see image
both cameras would be seen as split screen when setting up the recording then with the video videography camera locked on to its target.
the drone operator can now switch from split screen to full screen to fly around the circumference of the target.
an example would be a quadcopter flying around a moving train. one camera would be locked on to the train. as the other camera  would be used by the drone operator
to avoid pylons & overhead wiring.   -example for railway aerial videography.

I note the drone operator laws in Australia now. but like all things nowadays is subject to change over time.
considering the needs of search-&-rescue and other professional aerial videography.

one more idea is to add more cameras.
is the use of two forward looking cameras as a split screen stereoscopic view. placed horizontally on the sides of the quadcopter 40 or 60 cm apart looking forward. the standard definition video RF feed would be split screen for the drone operators stereoscopic video headset.  but the drone operator can switch to
monoscopic mode if needed using one camera.  any onboard aerial videography recording would be from a third High Definition camera gimbal or sphere.
alternatively both side forward looking cameras could also record high definition video as 3D aerial videography.
given that the falling cost of video camera electronics technology.  most phones have 3 or more cameras nowadays.
this would make low flying quadcopter aerial videography amazing.

I find it odd that some big fixed wing military drones have one big monoscopic camera gimbal or sphere. but no stereoscopic view cameras on the wingtips.
depriving the operator of stereoscopic situational awareness.  now if both stereoscopic wingtip cameras tracked in parallel like human eyes looking around.
this would give the operator the eyes of a giant.
