Hashgraph

In my efforts to try and understand Bitcoin I came across Hashgraph.

It's explained here by Leemon Baird who has patented it

I just thought I'd share this information if it proves to be helpful. I do NOT own ANY cryptocurrencies. Just thought I'd do some research into what all the fuss was about.

Pretty much the only thing anyone needs to understand about Bitcoin is that it's a very high risk "investment". It's also pretty useless as a currency (crypto or otherwise) compared to some of the alternatives.

Yes, there have been many people who have made a huge amount of money through Bitcoin, but those thinking they can jump on-board today and replicate their success are kidding themselves.

Now, I don't pretend to be an expert when it comes to finance, stock markets or trading crypto, but some fundamental issues scream at me not to touch Bitcoin with a bargepole. Pretty much the only reason Bitcoin has increased in popularity this year is due to hype created by the media. That is not a good enough reason to pour money into Bitcoin or its derivatives.

If you invested in bitcoin back in 2009/2010, it's just about time to cash in before the POP!
Buying in today wont give you anywhere near the same returns.

It's like any other investment - by the time the 'experts' are telling you to invest, it's far too late - they've made their money and are just hoping to get a little extra by stirring up a buy frenzy just before they cash out for good.
