I'm currently a senior Computer Engineering student and I have 2 more semesters to graduate (including this current one). The thing is I'm running out of money fast. Thanks to an internship at IBM this past summer I am able to pay for this semester. Because the Computer Engineering Degree requires 2 semesters of Senior Design I'll have take an additional semester.
The Computer Information System Technology degree only requires one senior project. (I've thought about a computer science degree but it would require for me to take classes that I don't have prereqs for
) My question is, would this hurt me in getting a job? Would companies look down on this?
Thank you
Depends entirely on what kinds of jobs you want in the short term.
In the long term, probably not much difference, as work experience begins to overshadow education.
