IC Die Photographs

Found these 3 sites today and thought it would be interesting to share with you. All of them feature closeup shots of decapped IC dies.

It's some times quite laborious to take such pics, including acquiring and decapping the chip, not to mention that it requires a good macro lens (or a microscope) and camera, plus good lighting.

I don't know, but other than the clipped corner near the trace, it looks just like the logo on this IC.  And I am fairly certain this is genuine.
