Lot of birds mimic, crow, ravens magpies do too.

I think think most impressive talking bird was Alex the parrot who could understand a lot and have a conversation as well as mimic. Some birds are the brightest animals on the planet, second to humans - their bird brain reputation doesn't stand up to science.
